Jamie spends his days buzzing between restaurants, homes & kitchens, florists and his studio photographing food, drinks, portraits, interiors and florals. With a flair for composition and light Jamie creates handsomely appealing images documenting people, places and the food and drink they produce.

His work encompasses advertising, books, editorial, and social campaigns, producing video and animations, alongside stills.

Food and drink brings people together and Jamie’s scenes of colourful, mouth-watering cocktails and dishes, celebrates this unifying experience. With a flair for composition and lighting, his eye for detail beckons the viewer to join for a drink or to pull up a seat at the table.

Previously a photo editor, Jamie has over 10 years’ experience in the publishing industry, working for magazines and newspapers including The Guardian, Time Out, GQ and Mens Health. Originally trained as an artist Jamie graduated in 2011 with an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art specialising in photography and sculpture. In 2014 he was commissioned by Open Eye Gallery to produce a new photographic series on Liverpool’s Chinatown, exhibiting alongside Martin Parr. Images from this series were acquired by the Government Art Collection and are currently on permanent display in Whitehall. In 2022 Jamie received a portrait commission from the British Library to explore Chinese identity in rural Britain. His series of large scale photographic prints were on display at the Library throughout 2023.

Jamie is based between Hove, East Sussex and London in the UK.
